Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about the Promotion at (the “Website”) form part of the Terms and Conditions.

    The Promoter

  1. The Promoter is Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, Samsung House, 1000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 0PS (the “Promoter”).
  2. Promotion Period

  3. The Promotion will commence at 00:01 (GMT) on 1 May 2017 and shall close at 23:59 (GMT) on 30 April 2018 (the “Promotion Period”).
  4. Offer

  5. Participants who purchase any new (i.e. not second hand) UHD TV and a new Samsung AV product from the models shown in the table below (each an “AV Promotion Product” and together the “AV Promotion Products”) in-store or online from the same Participating Retailer (“Participating Retailer”) in the UK within the Promotion Period will be entitled to claim a cashback reward (paid by way of bank transfer) by redemption. The relevant cash back amount per AV Promotion Product is set out in the table below (the “Reward”).

  6. A Participating Retailer is any retailer of UHD TVs other than the Excluded Retailers.
  7. Purchases from Dixons, John Lewis and auction websites (e.g. eBay), marketplace sales through retail websites (e.g., E-Buyer, Amazon Marketplace or Play Trade) or through Cost co, Electro Centre, or Brighthouse are specifically excluded from this Promotion.
  8. Participants may buy up to three (3) AV Promotion Product(s) and claim a maximum of three (3) Rewards per UHD TV purchased but each Reward claimed must be from a different AV product category (i.e. if a Participant were to purchase two (2) Wireless Subwoofers and one (1) UHD Blu Ray Player, that Participant would only be able to claim a Reward for one (1) Wireless Subwoofer and one (1) UHD Blu Ray Player).
  9. The UHD TV must be purchased before or at the same time as the AV Promotion Product(s) and the AV Promotion Product(s) must be purchased within sixty-five (65) days of the UHD TV.
  10. Eligibility

  11. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over.
  12. This Promotion is only available to end users (e.g. not to any reseller).
  13. Rewards shall be paid by way of bank transfer and Participants must have a UK bank account in order to receive the Reward.
  14. Claims

  15. After purchasing the AV Promotion Product(s) Participants must visit complete the claim form and submit it together with scanned copies of their proof of purchase for all AV Promotion Product(s) (“Claim”)
  16. Claims may only be submitted between thirty (30) and sixty (60) days of purchase of the AV Promotion Product , meaning the final claim date for a AV Promotion Product purchased on 30 April 2018 is 29 June 2018 (the “End Date”). Claims received after the End Date will be not eligible. For the avoidance of doubt, the date of purchase counts as day 1.
  17. Participants will receive an email notification if their Claim has been submitted correctly (“Claim Validation”). If the Claim is deemed to have been submitted incorrectly, the Participant will be notified via email and SMS and offered the opportunity to provide the required information within seven (7) days. If no response is received then the Claim shall be marked as invalid and the Participant will no longer be eligible to receive the Reward.
  18. Participants will receive the Reward by way of bank transfer to the UK bank account detailed in the Claim within thirty (30) days of Claim Validation. In the event that participation in the Promotion exceeds expectations, Claims may take up to fifty-six (56) days to be processed, in this event Participants will be notified by email of any delay
  19. Claims that are incomplete or damaged will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of claims.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify Claims which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  21. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid Claims including, without limitation, to generate or require further verification as to proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details of a Participant. This process may involve the Promoter sharing information with third parties.
  22. A claim must be made by the Participant, and must not be made through agents, third parties or in bulk.
  23. Privacy and Data Protection

  24. The Promoter may use any personal information submitted by the Participant to advise Participants of future promotions and to provide information about products of the Promoter or its associated companies that may be of interest. The Participant hereby consents to such personal information being used for this purpose and confirms that it agrees with the Promoter’s privacy policy available at: The Participant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information by writing to the Promoter or by using the opt-out process outlined in the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  25. Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Promotion, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Promotion or claiming the Reward will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed to any third party.
  26. Privacy and Data Protection

  27. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to the Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
  28. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the Terms and Conditions of the Promotion.
  29. Rewards are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash by Participants.
  30. The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive submissions due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or claims; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
  31. Participants will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other relevant costs, expenses which are not stated in the Terms and Conditions as included in the Reward.
  32. By participating in this Promotion, you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, to release and hold the Promoter harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in or in connection with the Promotion, including without limitation, awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the Reward. The above limitation of liability shall not apply to death or personal injury caused as a result of Promoter’s negligence.
  33. The Promotion is governed by English law.
